How does Check On Me™ work?
Every day at your chosen time, we send you a simple wellness check-in as a notification. You tap to confirm you're okay and get Today's Thought.
If we don't hear from you within your set window, we send a reminder. If there's still no response, your emergency contact(s) is notified.
If you do not check in for 2 consecutive days, on the 3rd day you will receive a notification that all notifications will stop until you check in on the app. This does not cancel your subscription.
We do not contact emergency services. Check On Me™ should not be relied upon in situations requiring immediate emergency assistance. In the event of an emergency, call 911 (United States or Canada) directly.
How do emergency contacts work?
You can add up to 3 emergency contacts. They will be notified via an SMS message if you miss a check-in. This SMS will let them know you haven't checked in and that they should try to reach you. You must have your contacts' consent to be added to Check On Me™.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the account settings on your phone, in our app, or by sending us an email at [email protected] with the phone number you used for the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not charge cancellation fees.
What is the SOS feature?
The SOS feature helps you quickly alert your trusted contacts when you need assistance. When you activate SOS, an SMS alert message is sent to your selected contacts along with your current location.
How does the SOS feature work?
When you press the SOS button, an SMS alert message containing your current location is sent to up to 3 contacts that you have added in the Check on Me™ app. This helps your trusted contacts know that you may need help and where you are.
Can I change my emeregency contacts or check-in time?
Yes. You can update your emergency contacts and change your check-in time within the app settings.
What happens if I'm not getting the notifications?
You can manage notification preferences in your phone's account settings. Make sure notifications are enabled for the app. You can also try restarting your device.
If the problem continues, you can submit a support ticket or contact us at [email protected] with the phone number you used for the app.
Can I stop the notifications?
You can manage notification preferences in your phone's account settings. Stopping your notifications does not cancel your subscription.
If you only want to pause notifications, we have a ‘Vacation Mode’ in the app settings.

Check On Me™ is available in the USA and Canada.
Is my information secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest. We never sell your personal information and only share it with trusted service providers necessary to operate Check On Me™.
How does the location feature work?
Your location is shared with your emergency contacts ONLY when you use the SOS feature. The app does not continuously track your location.
